Hyper-urban, super-metropolitan, with international charisma and with a high local recognition value - these are the main ideas for the Urbane Mitte am Gleisdreieck. By combining Berlin archetypes - the iron framework constructions of the S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations, the typical Berlin blocks, which usually have an eaves height of 22 m in the inner city area, and the tall buildings in the city, which often form ensembles - we generate something typical of Berlin at the same time and yet surprisingly new and contemporary quarter: a special piece of Berlin. The area opens up to the park and offers all Berliners and visitors to the city a wide range of uses.

Durch die Kombination Berliner Archetypen – die Eisenfachwerkkonstruktionen der S- und U-Bahnhöfe, die typischen Berliner Blöcke, die im Innenstadtbereich meist eine Traufhöhe von 22 m aufweisen und die hohen Häuser der Stadt, die oft Ensembles bilden - generieren wir ein zugleich Berlin-typisches und dennoch überraschend neuartiges und zeitgemäßes Quartier: ein besonderes Stück Berlin.
