Liveable City - 28 x Urban Development in Denmark

We are very pleased to show the exhibition "Liveable City - 28 x Urban Development in Denmark" by Danish Embassy.

Urban development moves. Citizens, planners, politicians. Cities must prepare themselves for the future and become more sustainable. What can this look like? From 11 October to 10 November, the ISU is showing the exhibition "Liveable City - 28 x Urban Development in Denmark" by the Royal Danish Embassy, Berlin, in the foyer of the Mühlenpfordt-Hochhaus. The exhibition shows examples of successful and forward-looking urban development in Denmark and deliberately focuses on projects in smaller and medium-sized cities.
The opening will take place on 11 October at 9:45 a.m. as part of the #SdZ23 conference. The opening will be addressed by Birgitte Tovborg Jensen, Cultural Attaché of the Danish Embassy, and Mathias Irminger Sonne, long-time Politiken journalist and now Head of Communications at the Embassy.

Save the date! "For the finissage on 7.11.2023 at 6 p.m. we can also welcome two fantastic guests, Dr. Katrine Østergaard Bang and Lisbet Volters, who will report from planning practice in Denmark.

The exhibition is divided into seven thematic areas, each with four examples: Recycled City, The Citizen:s and their City, Open Spaces and Urban Nature, City on the Water, City & Bike, The Sustainable City, and City & Children.
